When I was in high school, a local comics publisher called "Vineyard Press" began putting out issues here and there. The company's proximity to me and their willingness to accept submissions from interested parties captivated me. Up until recently, they hadn't been active, but when I saw they were looking to churn out more material, I very quickly found myself wanting to get their name out there.

This is a review of the first issue their most recent release: Dish. Another one should be coming out soon titled Ritual. I will be doing reviews on both and the one for Dish should appear on the publisher's site at some point. For now though, you can read it here. Hopefully, it will get you interested in checking Vineyard out as well.
